About Face International Corporation

"Leading people to a new way of life."

About-Face International Corporation (AFIC) is a non-profit organization that has been going in the community changing people’s lives. We are federally compliant, which means we are a 501c3. The goal is to help people get employed which would lead men and women to play their role in society.

AFIC is in place to bridge the gap between the government and the working people in America. We are making sure that everyone gets what the pledge of allegiance promises: One Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

AFIC is a vision that came to a young man while in prison for a crime he did not commit. He has overcome much, and he is identified by the Department of Behavioral Health, and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) (Certified Peer Specialist).

Living with a mental illness has not stopped him in his pursuit of helping others. He has firsthand experience in understanding some of the obstacles people, like himself, would encounter.

He wants AFIC to advocate on their behalf.  Allowing AFIC to receive the funding will be hope for many people like himself.

Ricke L. Willis, Jr. is a Certified Peer Specialist. He is a graduate of Belhaven University, located in Jackson, Mississippi. He is a senior currently completing his Master’s in Divinity, from Morehouse School of Religion, his concentration is Public Spaces from the Interdenominational Theological Center, located in Atlanta, Georgia. He is due to graduate this coming May of 2022.
